One Village at a Time
The One Village at a Time approach is a shared vision of a number of people who have worked in Africa over the past twenty years. The mission is simple. Help women help themselves, one village at a time.
Large organizations respond every day to people in need across the globe. War-torn countries like Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan and others in Africa have received millions of dollars in aid over the years. To many, including ourselves, giving to large aid agencies can feel uncertain.
At Cross Cultural Journeys Foundation, we work at a very personal level, where volunteers spend time in African villages learning about the needs of individual communities, and responding accordingly. Learn more about to help One Village at a Time.
Making a Difference, One Village at a Time.
What if you could really make a difference?
At the heart of Cross Cultural Journeys Foundation is the committment to assist women in becoming self-reliant in ways they determine will meet their own needs. Although, we have worked on many projects around the world, we founda if we focused on our attention on Africa and One Village at a Time, we could make a greater impact on the lives of the people we set out to serve.
